Free, printable Kids Movie coloring pages

Choose from movie coloring pages with characters, costumes, animals, and settings to color. Peter Pan takes Wendy toward Neverland in an easy-to-read scene, while Jasmine and Aladdin fly through the clouds; a busy Madrigal family portrait gives you much more to explore.

Choose by age and coloring level

Start with the size and complexity of the shapes, then let your child pick a favorite film. A simple outline is often a comfortable choice for a 3-year-old, while a 7-year-old may enjoy a scene with a few more props and characters. Adults can take their time with intricate backgrounds and small details.

Easy movie coloring pages for kids

Broad shapes make the Grinch’s funny pose, a waving Cloud Guy, and Peter Rabbit walking along a path approachable for young colorers. A simple outline of Bambi or Sally Carrera also leaves room to practice staying within the lines without getting lost in tiny details.

Cute movie coloring pages

Chibi Snow White holding an apple has a clear central figure, and baby Pegasus carried by Hercules gives kids a sweet moment to color. For another gentle scene, Simea is surrounded by flowers and butterflies, so children can choose colors for each small detail.

Detailed movie coloring pages for adults

Choose a longer project in the Grinch’s armchair scene, where Christmas lights fill the space around him, or color Stitch, Scrump, and Angel together. The Skrill’s scales and Prince Philip and Aurora’s forest setting reward careful work with pencils or fine markers. Medium-detail scenes, such as Cinderella’s glass slipper or Miguel Rivera smiling, suit colorers who want a little more than a simple outline.

What colors should you choose?

Use colors from a movie you remember, or invent a new look for the scene. Green and red make a festive Grinch, while bright flowers and butterfly wings can turn Simea’s picture into a lively garden. For a forest or jungle, layer several greens and add brown trunks, blue shadows, or a patch of warm sunlight.

Plan a movie-scene guessing game

Pick a page without naming the film and invite someone to guess from the clues as you color. Costumes, a glass slipper, a pumpkin, or a familiar sidekick can help tell the story. Once the picture is finished, make up a new line of dialogue for the characters or describe what happens just before the scene.

Christmas movie scenes

Color the Grinch surrounded by lights, or Jack Skellington dressed as Santa. Use the pictures to set a holiday mood, then ask which small detail helped you recognize the season.

Halloween movie scenes

Trolls dancing in costume, Stitch beside a pumpkin, and Mike and Sullivan dressed up give you different spooky-season scenes. Try unusual costume colors, or keep the background dark to make bright details stand out.

Easter movie scenes

Peter Rabbit with ducklings and Easter eggs makes a simple springtime scene to color together. Add soft greens to the field and choose a different pattern for each egg.

Read the story in the picture

A movie scene often gives you clues about what is happening without showing the whole story. Look at faces, gestures, clothing, and nearby objects: a raised sword suggests action, while a shared umbrella or a character holding an apple can point to a quieter moment. Ask your child to describe those clues before choosing colors, then compare how different colors change the mood.

Print movie coloring pages as PDFs

Each drawing has an “Open the PDF” button to open its file and a “Print” button to print it directly, including from a phone. Choose fit to page if a drawing looks close to the paper’s edges. Thicker paper can help with markers, while colored pencils work well for small details.
