Pick a favorite crew member, from Captain Barnacles and Kwazii to Dashi, Peso, Tweak, and Professor Inkling. The scenes range from manatees swimming among fish and a fiddler crab on the reef to the Octopod, a manta ray ride, and a shark-shaped Gup crossing the ocean. For a busier picture, the Gup Z giant robot and a team exploring underwater leave more shapes and details to color.

Who Are the Octonauts?

The Octonauts are the crew of an animated television series that began in 2010 and was created by Meomi Design. These pages show Captain Barnacles, Kwazii, Dashi, Peso, Tweak, Shellington, Professor Inkling, and the Vegimals alongside sea animals and the Octopod. The series comes from the United Kingdom and Ireland, a fitting setting for a crew whose adventures take place beneath the water.

Plan an Underwater Octonauts Mission

Turn a picture into a quick storytelling activity by asking your child to choose a crew member and an animal to help. A manatee or fiddler crab can inspire a rescue mission, while the manta ray scene suggests a journey across the reef. Have your child describe where the team is going and what they might notice along the way, then make up a name for the mission.

Choose by Age and Skill Level

A child’s comfort with small shapes matters more than age alone. For a three-year-old, choose a single character with open spaces; a seven-year-old may enjoy a scene with a few extra parts to fill in. Older children and adults can take their time with group pictures, equipment, and underwater details.

Easy Octonauts Coloring Pages for Kids

The simple Captain Barnacles and Tweak drawings make friendly starting points for preschoolers, with recognizable figures and room for broad strokes. Paani with open arms and the manatees swimming with fish offer clear shapes without asking a young child to manage a crowded scene. For a seven-year-old ready for a little more, Kwazii riding the shark-shaped ship adds a vehicle and ocean setting to color.

Cute Octonauts Coloring Pages

Kwazii, Dashi, and Peso have sweet, approachable expressions in the cute drawings, so they suit a short, relaxed coloring break. The waving Dashi and the small, cheerful-looking penguin are especially straightforward choices for children who like to focus on one face at a time. Let your child choose the colors for their uniforms and the background rather than aiming for an exact match.

Detailed Octonauts Coloring Pages for Adults

The detailed pictures give adults more to work through: Inkling’s book, pencil, protractor, and globe create a cluster of small objects, while the Gup Z giant robot has larger mechanical shapes to shade. Group scenes bring several crew members and the Vegimals together, with plenty of faces and outlines to keep distinct. The underwater picture with Barnacles, Min, Peso, and Kwazii adds the challenge of balancing the figures with their surroundings; colored pencils work well for careful marks.
